Dr. Ashok Tanwar was born on February 12, 1976, in the Chimni village of Jhajjar district in Haryana. His father Dilbagh Singh proudly served in the Indian Army and his mother Krishna Rathi, a nurturing homemaker provided the foundation for his journey. As he grew, his curiosity and determination led him to Shambhu Dayal School in Sonepat. Here, the seeds of leadership were sown, igniting his passion to serve his community. After completing his early education, he graduated from the Kakatiya University in Warangal in 1996. He joined the Centre for Historical Studies at the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), where he received his M.A., M.Phil. and PhD in Medieval Indian History. His education is a showcase of his perseverance and industrious personality
